Kevin Correia allowed just one run on Monday at Fenway Park, but the Minnesota Twins couldn't get the offense going in a 1-0 defeat to the Boston Red Sox.

Correia was solid on the mound for the Twins. Correia allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out two over six innings of work.

Rubby De La Rosa got the win for the Red Sox. He tossed seven innings of shutout ball. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered one hit.

Correia was the game's losing pitcher.

Red Sox closer Koji Uehara put away the final three outs to record the save, his 15th save of the season.

The fifth inning saw the Red Sox score their only run on the day on a sacrifice fly by A.J. Pierzynski.
