Gibson Call Up

Kyle Gibson was called up after the game Sunday, and Pedro Hernandez was optioned down to Rochester. Kyle is scheduled to make his debut on Saturday at Target Field. Now the only issue left: Who wants to take me to the game? Seriously though, best of luck to Kyle! Very exciting news for him and Twins fans in general.

According to Jon Heyman and also rotowire! That was after he went 2 for 4 (all homeruns) for FTM today. Sano hit 16 bombs in 243 PA, while hitting .330, walking at a 12% clip and maintaining his K% from last year. All while hitting in the notorious pitcher's paradise called the Florida State League.

Over on MiLB.com they have a write up of Meyer's most recent start. He talks about his delivery and how he needs to "hold his front side" ... what this means I don't know! But there is video and you can see this super giant look 10 feet tall strikeout a lot of AA guys. As a bonus we can see Pinto catching too!
