In case you'd like to watch it again...a video of Mauer's "foul" ball. As if there is any doubt. I'm not saying that this cost the Twins the game at all, but it was a huge game-changing call (one that was made pretty horribly). Even the announcers acknowledge that Joe should be at 2B at this point.

C'est la vie, I suppose. But still...ouch.

I sure hope Gardy comes up with a speech like this before today's game. They'll need it.

Eric Bruntlett has an unassisted triple play to end a close game for the Phillies. Apparently, this is the 15th time in history this has happened in the MLB. Crazy stuff.
