Graffanino

Sigh

Tony Graffanino, his .309/.366/.425 batting line, ability to be a utility player (as well as play third), and his price tage equal to that of roster clog Juan Castro and perrenial out machine Tony Batista was released to waivers yesterday by teh Boston Red Sox.

He could replace either Castro or Batista and do either job several times better than either for a totally acceptable price.

But we won't get him.

Sigh.
