I just saw this posted over at Minorleagueball

Lohse has been traded for Class A RHP Zach Ward.  According to John Sickels, Ward was 7-0 with a 2.45 ERA and a 91/29 K/BB ratio in 103 IP over 16 starts.  He has allowed only 67 hits and 2 HRs this season.  Also, Sickels ranked Ward the Reds' 10th best prospect prior to the 2006 season.

Based on the stats alone and Ryan's past history of identifying and developing low-level pitching prospects, this looks like another potential steal for the Twins...especially considering the fact that this deal was made for Kyle Lohse.
