In a move most of us expected to happen, the Twins (through MLB.com) are in talks with Nathan to consumate the deal.
Nathan, who will be 33 for the 2008 campaign, will stand to make $6,000,000 for the season. Since coming to Minnesota in 2004, he's averaged 40 saves per season. In 282.1 innings as a Twin he's amassed 355 strikeouts while only 80 have walked, given up just 186 hits and allowed a total of 63 runs.
