Third time's the charm?
MLB.com reports that Jones will be the Twins in time for tonight's game versus the Texas Rangers. With the Twins, Jones is hitting .160/.250/.280 with four hits in 10 games, including a double and a triple. With Rochester, Jones has fared much better with a .280/.334/.473 line and 13 home runs in 400 at-bats.
Due to lack of depth in the middle infield thanks to Bartlett's hamstring and Punto's assbat, Jones will be starting at second base.
Total j/k.
