It's been awhile since we've played a game.
Who Am I?
- Once a five-tool first round draft pick, I came to the Twins after six (relatively) disappointing minor league seasons on the east coast
- In 301 major league at-bats I took 11 walks...against 80 strikeouts
- I quit baseball at age 27, became a professional scout at age 28, and am now entering my 11th season as a General Manager
- I was a first round draft pick by the Minnesota Twins
- Seven years after being drafted I was purchased from the Twins by the Chicago Cubs
- Fifteen years after being drafted I pitched 1/3 of an inning for an eventual National League playoff team
- In 2004 I was an All-Star with the Rookie and Appalachian leagues
- After two solid seasons with Elizabethton and Beloit, I had a disappointing year with Fort Myers. In my fourth season as a professional I played for an independent league, posting a .785 OPS
- After five good seasons with the Twins I became a free agent
- I played for five years after leaving Minnesota, but only the season following my departure saw me playing regularly; it was my best year as a full-time player as I finished 3rd in MVP balloting
