Last Wednesday, SB Nation implemented a distribution partnership with Yahoo! Sports to feature our network's content on their team pages.
Above you can see a shot taken from Yahoo! Sports Minnesota Twins page. In the lower left-hand corner you can see the SB Nation logo, with our site's most recent stories published. It's an exciting time, and for any of you new users coming across from Yahoo! Sports, welcome to Twinkie Town!
I'm Jesse, and I've been running the content on SB Nation's Twins page since its inception in November of 2005. We're part of a large network, with nearly 200 blogs dedicated to the sports you love. At our site specifically, we strive to deliver everything you could want as a fan of the Minnesota Twins: game coverage, player analysis, hot stove coverage and a place where you can go to immerse yourself in the team you love. Whether you're happy to inform yourself by stopping by to read from time to time, or whether you want to actively participate in our community, chances are you can find what you're looking for with us...
- Game threads for every regular-season game, most spring training games and, fingers crossed...games in October
- Recaps following every game from Opening Day
- Q & A sessions with members of the Twins' front office
- Community-interactive events like Who AM I and Caption Contests
As I've already mentioned, this is a community; a place where fans can share thoughts and, hopefully, learn something about their favorite team from time to time. Which means that this site isn't just about what I think, it's about what you think. SB Nation designed these sites to encourage discussion, so if you have something to say, head on over to FanPosts and make yourself heard. If you find a cool link or a quote you think needs to be noticed, you can make quick work of it by heading into FanShots. If you don't feel the need to share, you can always join the discussion in the comment section of any post.
Finally, this is a community that runs based on respect. Everyone is welcome to their opinions and their thoughts, and you should feel welcome to challenge anyone's views as long as you're willing to defend your own. But this is not a message board, and all who participate are expected to be courteous. This is a site about baseball, for baseball, and nothing else. You're always free to shoot me an email if you have any questions.
Finally, have fun and welcome to Twinkie Town!
