Scott Baker hopes to put his last and only start this season behind him and re-establish himself as the staff ace against one of the toughest line-ups in the league. After opening the year on the DL with shoulder stiffness, the Twins need Baker to return to the form he showed last year, when he hit his spots and moved the ball up and down on the corners. He pitched well against the Sox last year.

Tim Wakefield

#49 / Pitcher / Boston Red Sox

Tim Wakefield hopes for a repeat of his last start against Oakland, when he took a no hitter into the eighth inning and finished with a complete game victory. The Twins have had some success against the knuckleballer, and might need to again the way the Red Sox are swinging and Scott Baker is pitching.
