Game 39: Twins @ Yankees

First Pitch: 6:05pm CDT
TV: FSN (and ESPN for all you national folks)
Radio: Twins Radio Network
Know Thine Enemy: Pinstripe Alley

Probables:

W-L G GS CG SHO SV BS IP H R ER HR BB K ERA WHIP
2009 - Glen Perkins 1-2 7 7 0 0 0 0 46.1 43 22 22 4 12 26 4.27 1.19

After tossing three gems in his first three games, Perkins hasn't pitched a particularly good game since. The lefty's been knocked out at the six-inning mark or before in each of his last four starts, and has given up four or five runs in each of those games.

2009 - Andy Pettitte 3-1 7 7 0 0 0 0 45.0 47 22 20 5 15 25 4.00 1.38

Pettitte is more or less in the same boat as Perkins - he hasn't finished seven innings since mid-April, either. In his last start, though, he got the win against Toronto, tossing six innings and giving up just one earned run. The lefty is 8-5 all-time against the Twins.

He's also a known, admitted HGH abuser. Way to help the game of baseball, Andy!
