Game 26: Twins @ Detroit

Darn EDT games; hope you hurried home from work to catch this one.

TV: FSN (theoretically in HD, but if you have Comcast, you'll have to wait and see if they deign to actually broadcast the HD feed. Cause, you know, that extra money you pay for HD only goes so far. IT'S NOT COMCASTIC PEOPLE.)
Radio: As usual, the Twins Radio Network. Gordo! The Dazzle Man! Two or three correct counts per ballgame!
Know Thine Enemy: Bless You Boys

Starting Pitchers:

2009 - Francisco Liriano 0-4 5 5 0 0 0 0 28.1 28 20 19 3 11 20 6.04 1.38

2009 - Edwin Jackson 1-1 5 5 0 0 0 0 32.0 25 12 8 4 8 21 2.25 1.03

Edwin Jackson Scouting Report: You're remembering correctly - he used to pitch for Tampa Bay. And he's off to one heck of a start as a Tiger; he's held the other team scoreless into the seventh three times already this year. Jackson throws a 94-mph fastball that he'll occasionally gear up into the 97-98mph range, along with an 85-86mph slider (and a handful of curves or changeups.) He'll throw about 60% fastballs and 30% sliders.
