Anybody feel like winning? I'd love nothing more than to sweep the Indians.

2009 - Scott Baker 9-7 22 22 0 0 0 0 131.2 131 72 71 22 27 109 4.85 1.20

Much like Francisco Liriano on Wednesday, Baker needs to step up his game today. He's been a much better pitcher over the second half of his season. Against an offense like the one boasted by Cleveland, there's really no reason to do anything but shut it down. In 14 innings over two starts against the Indians this summer, Scott's allowed just two earned runs.

2009 - Justin Masterson 0-0 2 1 0 0 0 0 7.0 6 1 1 0 2 8 1.29 1.14

It sounds like Masterson will almost be allowed a big boy pitch count, and if he's efficient 80 pitches should be enough to get him through five or six innings. Hopefully the Twins take a patient approach to see how he deals. Masterson throws a low to mid-90's fastball, mixing in a mid-80's slider. According to FanGraphs, Masterson also throws a third pitch, his changeup, on approximately 3% of his pitches. If I'm a Twins hitter, I know my strategy.
