Every game's important now, whether it's against the Sox or some out-of-division team. With Minnesota ahead of Chicago, this one hardly matters as an AL Central matchup - it's just that the Twins need to somehow make up games on the Tigers.

Probable Starters
He hasn't won in eight straight starts. During that span, he has an 8.22 ERA, is allowing nearly two baserunners per inning, and has made it as far as the seventh inning just three times. It all started with the All-Star break, followed by that 14-13 disaster in Oakland, and Blackburn hasn't recovered since. In other words: hope all you want, but when he's been on the mound lately, things get ugly, fast.
Floyd had a momentary scare last start, when he felt some pain in his hip but stayed in the game. He's been downplaying the injury, but we'll see how he reacts. In August, he's had four quality starts in five attempts - but is just 2-2, as the Sox can't score any runs for him (they've plated two or fewer in 11 of his 26 starts this year).
