Starters

2009 - Jeff Manship 0-0 5 0 0 0 0 0 7 9 4 4 0 3 3 5.14 1.71

Manship makes his debut as a starter for the Twins, the tenth starter the team has used this year. Unlike the others whom the Twins have thrust in that role, Manship has the secondary pitches and the control to get through five or six innings without letting the game get out of hand. Hopefully that's enough..

2009 - John Danks 12-8 25 25 1 0 0 0 153.1 143 70 65 18 58 135 3.82 1.31

Danks is the Pale Hosers toughest starter for this line-up. He's especially tough on left handed batters. And without left handedbatters, the Twins line-up would be pretty feeble. He's been predictably tough on the Twins this year, holding the team to a 79 OPS+ against him, whereas the team has an OPS+ of 107 on the year. With a rookie on the mound, we better hope for Danks to make enough critical mistakes to give the boys a chance.
