Game 145 Cleveland Indians vs Minnesota Twins

I'll be at the Dome tonight, so I won't be able be here for the game thread. Hope you all enjoy the game.

Probable Pitchers

W-L G GS CG SHO SV BS IP H R ER HR BB K ERA WHIP
2009 - Scott Baker 13-8 28 28 1 1 0 0 172.1 160 84 83 25 38 142 4.33 1.15

Baker has been the Twins' best starter this year, which says something about this rotation. When he keeps the ball in the ballpark, he's tough. Hopefully his fly balls can be caught tonight.

W-L G GS CG SHO SV BS IP H R ER HR BB K ERA WHIP
2009 - Fausto Carmona 3-10 20 20 0 0 0 0 101.1 118 80 73 13 63 63 6.48 1.72

Carmona is a mystery. Like Liriano, how can a guy with that kind of stuff suck so bad? The answer is control. Notice the K/BB ratio. He just doesn't have good enough control of his fastball to be successful. Hopefully the Twins can wait him out and put good swings on the ball when he does throw strikes.
