Apologies for the tardiness of this post, as I forgot Cleveland, Ohio, was in the Eastern Time Zone, meaning the first pitch is an hour earlier than I suspected. Gah. Here we go:

Pavano gets to face his most recent former team for the first time. The Twins could really, really use a quality start in this spot. A complete game might not be a bad idea, for that matter.
In six career starts against the Twins, Sowers is 2-3 with an ERA just under six. That's my way of saying he's hittable.
