Ned Yost will take over. I'm not sure that Hillman was necessarily a good manager, but it's hard to tell with the lack of talent in the organization. This seems more like a perpetual ownership and GM issue than a manager issue, but this isn't the first time the axe has fallen on a scapegoat.
