2010 - Brian Matusz 3-10 19 19 0 0 0 0 105.1 117 65 61 13 40 83 5.21 1.49

Matusz, like Baker, has actually pitched better than his numbers. Which, naturally, means he could shut out the Twins over seven innings. He gets ahead early but doesn't always finish hitters off, and as a result of giving hitters additional chances and more pitches he can run into streaks of base runners. He's a fly ball pitcher which means he's susceptible to the long ball as well.

2010 - Scott Baker 7-9 19 19 0 0 0 0 113.2 134 65 65 17 22 96 5.15 1.37

Consistency has been Baker's biggest issue this year, and that's no secret. One inning, one pitch, it doesn't seem to matter--something always seems to happen that completely implodes his performance. Sometimes it's not his fault, but a lot of times it is. Focus, make good pitches, and be efficient. This is the team to get healthy against.
