Francisco Liriano was scheduled to start tonight, but with Nick Blackburn being called up from the minors and on track to start Monday as well, the team decided to keep Blackburn on schedule and move Liriano back to get some extra rest.

Apart from Glen Perkins - who has been worse against lefties than righties in his career - the Twins don't currently have a lefty in the bullpen. La Velle says the team might have trouble finding help from elsewhere. (Might we suggest Pat Neshek, he of the .202 career BA against vs. lefties?)
