Know Thine Enemy: South Side Sox
|2010 - Gavin Floyd||10-12||29||29||1||0||0||0||182.0||190||86||79||13||56||147||3.91||1.35|
The last time we saw Floyd, the Twins were lighting him up for the third time in as many starts. In three starts against the Twins this year, Floyd has combined for 17 innings, 27 hits, 17 strikeouts, 9 walks and 17 runs. That's a lot of strikeouts, but it's a whole crap load of runs.
Minnesota already knows what they need to about Floyd: great curveball that he'll deal in pitcher's counts just as often as the fastball, while early in the count and when he's behind he'll fall in love with the fastball. He's another good pitcher, and so just like Danks last night the Twins are going to have to put runs on the board when the opportunity is there.
|2010 - Brian Duensing||8-2||49||9||1||1||0||0||107.0||93||28||24||7||22||62||2.02||1.07|
Duensing. He's so hot right now. Duensing.
