2010 - Nick Blackburn 9-9 24 22 1 0 0 0 135.2 170 87 83 20 34 55 5.51 1.50

Blackburn has been terrific of late (via Joe C.: 2-2, 1.71 ERA, opponent BA of .176 in his last five games), and has probably cemented his status as the 4th playoff starter.

2010 - Brett Anderson 5-6 15 15 0 0 0 0 85.2 87 33 28 5 17 60 2.94 1.21

Per Oakland Athletics' by-laws, Anderson is a super-young (22), left-handed starting pitcher.

Your lineups and some surprising uses for common household items (hint: you can make your own booze with just about anything!!!!) after the jump:

Lineups, again from the Strib's Joe Christensen:

Twins:

1. Ben Revere, CF
2. Orlando Hudson, 2B
3. Delmon Young, LF
4. Michael Cuddyer, 1B
5. Jim Thome, DH
6. Danny Valencia, 3B
7. J.J. Hardy, SS
8. Jason Repko, RF
9. Sweet Drew, C

Athletics:

1. Coco Crisp, CF
2. Daric Barton, 1B
3. Mark Ellis, 2B
4. Jack Cust, DH
5. Kurt Suzuki, C
6. Rajai Davis, CF
7. Akinori Iwamura, 3B
8. Chris Carter, LF
9. Cliff Pennington, SS

Notes:

  • Revere, Repko and Butera in the lineup tonight. Safe to say we are no longer playing the White Sox. Curious who DHs tomorrow, since they likely won't play Thome in a noon game following a night game, and Mauer will probably be back behind the plate. (BRING BACK TYNER!)
  • Anyone else think/hope that Guerrier and Crain get the next couple days off, too?
  • Home Field Watch: the Yankees are at Baltimore (6:05 start), and the Rays are at the Trop against the Angels.
  • Champagne Watch: White Sox have Detroit at home. Magic number is 8.

Enjoy the game, everybody.
