I'm sorry, but I'm still celebrating every million. And we hit number three sometime earlier today or late last night.
August, 2009: One million.
June, 2010: Two million.
January, 2011: Three million.
I couldn't be happier with how this community has evolved, not just in the last seven months since million numero duo, but overall in the five (plus) years that we've been up and running. Especially in light of the sheer quantity of quality Twins blogs that exist. I don't want to list any, because I know I'll forget one and then feel terrible, but the Twins blogging community is a unique one and a fantastic one, and I'm proud that Twinkie Town is a part of it.
SBNation also deserves a massive thank you. They've let us be us, such as we are, and over time we've become one of the premier Twins blogs on the internet thanks in no small part to their own growth and endless support. Personally, and I may be just a little biased, I believe this is the best online Twins community you can find.
For all you community members, old and new, readers and contributors and commenters, I hope you keep coming back to make this place the gathering ground that it is. Jon, Stu, Adam, Cmath, Beau, Trevour, Roger and I, we're all different, and that's part of what makes this a fun place. The same goes for everyone. If we all agreed or had the same opinions, this would be a boring place indeed.
Keep sharing your passion for baseball and the Twins here with us, and I hope everyone continues to feel a welcome part of the community. We'll continue to strive for unique and quality content, but if you ever feel there's anything lacking you can always start your own topic in the FanPost section. That's what makes you such an important part of the conversation.
