James Beresford collected 45 of the 189 votes (23%) cast, winning the Thirty-Ninth spot in this year's poll. Tyler Robertson was second with 34 votes while Bobby Lanigan was third with 27.
Everyone will return for our fortieth round. Added will be one of the more exciting shortstops in the organization, Daniel Santana. After an excellent 2009 in the GCL and great start to his season last year at Elizabethton, Santana moved up to Beloit as a nineteen year old. He hit .238/.289/.315 in 130 at bats at Beloit after hitting .264/.285/.421 at Elizabethton.
Beginning with the next round (#41), we will begin dropping the bottom half of players from each round so that we can expose more players to the voting. This round will remain open through Noon, Tuesday, February 1st.
