Twinkie Town 2012 Top 50...Round Two!

There has only been a handful of votes since this morning so I am going to close voting on the first round.

Congratulations to Miguel Sano who was a overwhelming selection as the top prospect of Twinkie Town 2012. Sano collected 286 (58%) of the 491 votes cast, thus, eliminating the need for a final round of voting for our top pick.

Chris Parmelee was a distant second with 35 votes while last year's top pick Kyle Gibson was third with 29. Appalachian League co-MVP, Eddie Rosario, was a close fourth with 27 votes. Aaron Hicks closed out the top five with 22 votes.

Beginning with the next round, we will eliminate all players who do not receive at least two (2%) percent of the votes. With so many players within a few votes of each other, our second round should be exciting. This round will remain open until 3pm, Monday.
