The weather's lousy.

Duensing handcuffed the Rays last Sunday. Metaphorically.

Fausto Carmona

Carmona is 1-1 with a 1.25 ERA in his last three starts. Sources close to the team say Carmona "enjoys pants."

Notes:

  • Still no Morneau, still no Young, still no roster move. Would a rainout pushing this game into midsummer be a bad thing, asks the guy who doesn't have tickets for tonight's game and has no skin in the game?
  • Sounds like the weather in Detroit for Tigers/White Sox is equally blech.
  • As Joe C. noted in his lineup post, Trevor Plouffe continues to hit the ball real hard in AAA.
  • Both teams will be wearing green ballcaps for the Earth Day. In a sadly ironic twist, the hats are made entirely of baby seals.
  • City Pages published its Best of the Twin Cities issue this week, and I endorse their choice of The Depot for Best Place to Drink Before a Twins Game. Great tap selection AND cheese curds.
  • If there is a game, enjoy it, everybody. If not, stay dry, and maybe treat yourself to a delicious Cadbury creme egg. (This was not a sponsored post, I just like those goddamn things.)
