2011 - Luke Hochevar 2-3 6 6 0 0 0 0 38.0 38 27 24 9 8 23 5.68 1.21

Luke Ho-Shay-Ver and Kyle Davies have both been in Kansas City's rotation since 2007, making them the longest-tenured starters in the Royals' rotation. Hochevar has been nothing more than a back-end starter at any point in that time.

He'll start each plate appearance with a fastball on most occasions, and when he's behind that fastball is even more dominant. But in between he'll mix in his other offerings, with his slider being his out pitch. In fact it's been his only really consistent pitch over the last year, posting an impressive .111 BABIP.
