This inconsistency is getting a bit ridiculous, but the sad part is that inconsistency is an integral part of teams with talent who struggle. Until the Twins can be more consistent on defense, on the mound and at the plate, we'll continue to see our boys struggle. Let's see if they can play well today and take the first step towards consistency by showing up today, on all sides of the ball.
May has been good for Nick so far, as in his two starts he's thrown 13 innings of 1.38 ERA baseball. Considering that at any given time this squad as trouble scoring one run, much less two, if he could keep up that level of production we'd all appreciate it.
Hahahahaha....his name is Jo-Jo.
Jo-Jo (snicker) throws a low 90s fastball, mid-80s slider and changeup, and his best pitch over the course of his career has been that curveball, which breaks in the 70s. He won't throw that changeup to lefties more than once a game, but it'll make regular appearances against right-handed hitters.
