Know Thine Enemy: Athletics Nation
After a much-needed win last night, Carl Pavano and the one-game-winning-streak Twins look to defeat the Oakland Athletics at Overstock.com Coliseum tonight. And no, I did not make up the name of their field.

|2011 - Carl Pavano||2-4||8||8||0||0||0||0||47.1||57||34||31||5||14||18||5.89||1.50|
We really need a quality start from Pavano tonight, as it appears that Glen Perkins is the only reliable bullpen arm we have and he can't really pitch every night. Pavano has had a couple pretty rough starts so far this year, but hopefully he can settle in and pitch well against the A's tonight.

|2011 - Brandon McCarthy||1-4||8||8||2||0||0||0||56.2||59||27||21||1||10||36||3.34||1.22|
McCarthy has already beat us once this year (April 10), so it would only be fair for us to beat him tonight. That's all I'm saying.
