Know Thine Enemy: The National League

While some still debate the usefulness of the MLB All Star game (and whether or not fans should have their votes count as much as they do), I thoroughly enjoy the Summer Classic. American League vs. National League. Some of your favorite players working together with some of your least favorite for a purpose-home field advantage in the World Series. Perhaps it's not the best way to determine that, and the game certainly has its flaws, but it's still a lot of fun to watch some of the very best players in the game play together.

After the jump is some information on the starting pitchers and tonight's starting roster for each league. Go go!

American League

Starting for the AL this year is the Angels' Jered Weaver, who's been nothing short of spectacular.

National League

Starting for the NL this year is the one and only Roy Halladay. I'm a HUGE Halladay fan, and am glad he gets the start tonight. I mean, remember the NO-HITTER he threw in last year's post-season? Dude's crazy good. Fun fact: Halladay's full name is Harry Leroy Halladay III.
