Notes:
- No Danny Valencia or Tsuyoshi Nishioka this evening. Per the Pioneer Press' John Shipley, Valencia's in the doghouse and Nishioka is pressing, which you probably would have guessed from watching the former's fielding play last night and the latter's attempts to hit a fastball on this continent.
- Joe C. notes in the link above that the Twins' plan for Denard Span to play 5-6 games in Rochester and have him in Anaheim on Tuesday. Unless he's traded to Washington for Drew Storen, Bryce Harper, Stephen Strasburg and whoever else they feel like throwing in.
- Christensen also notes that Justin Morneau is basically cleared for takeoff, and may be on his way to Florida for some simulated games soon.
Enjoy the game, everybody.
