Throw strikes. Get ground balls. Defense makes plays. That's the formula.

2011 - Zack Greinke 7-3 11 11 0 0 0 0 62.1 66 42 39 8 12 80 5.63 1.25

I heard this guy is good but I can't place where we've seen him before.

Greinke's been up and down quite a bit since his return to the field, and his last start was probably more representative of the down: 2 innings, 5 hits, 3 walks, 0 strikeouts and 7 runs. And that had come after he'd struck out 10 in back-to-back outings. That first 10-strikeout game, he allowed 8 runs. So...yes. Greinke has been all over the board.

The Twins have seen him on a number of occasions, so today they should just feel him out.

Lineups after the jump.
