Game 132: Tigers at Twins

First Pitch: 3:10pm CDT
TV: FSN
Radio: Twins Radio Network
Know Thine Enemy: Bless You Boys

On the plus side, only 40 more games left! That and September is just a couple of days away, and we can get a look at where certain guys are heading into next year. I'm not lying: I am very excited for September callups this year. I've forgotten how much stretch run baseball isn't fun when you're not in contention.

2011 - Carl Pavano 6-10 26 26 2 0 0 0 174.1 205 97 88 17 35 76 4.54 1.38

Knowing Pavano, he very well might come out today and pitch eight innings of one-run baseball. #Optimism

2011 - Justin Verlander 19-5 28 28 4 2 0 0 209.2 139 59 53 17 45 212 2.28 .88

Unfortunately, knowing how things have gone this year, Verlander will then come out and throw a complete game shutout. #Realism
