Know Thine Enemy: Let's Go Tribe

Game recaps will be done for the weekend in one super-post - surprisingly Fargo has internet, but my access to it is very limited this weekend. With that in mind, here are your pitchers for today's tilt in Cleveland.

2011 - Fausto Carmona 7-15 31 31 0 0 0 0 182.1 198 121 106 21 59 106 5.23 1.41

Carmona continues to draw comparisons to Liriano because neither of them seem to be consistent enough for any kind of reliable performance. This year has been one of Fausto's worst years, as few as there have been. The Twins really need to win today, so it's nice that Carmona has been the bad version of himself, but again - like Liriano, he's capable of putting together a good game at any time.

2011 - Liam Hendriks 0-2 3 3 0 0 0 0 17.1 22 12 12 2 3 11 6.23 1.44

It's Liam's last start of 2011, and while he'll certainly be in the mix for the MLB rotation next spring a good start today will leave that lasting impression in the minds of the managers and front office. It's maybe not entirely fair, but you know how sports works: what did he do the last time he played?
