2011 - Joel Pineiro 5-6 23 20 0 0 0 0 123.1 160 80 73 14 33 50 5.33 1.56

If it seems like Pineiro has been around forever, it's because he has been. But he's only in his age-32 season. He's gotten much easier to solve in recent years, with strikeout rates dipping to dangerous levels and hits falling too often, and his fastball keeps getting slower...and slower...and slower. He'll work down and away quite a bit to right-handed hitters, throwing mostly fastballs and sliders. Against lefties he'll work the outer third and will try to his spots just below the knees across the zone, largely with the fastball and curve.

2011 - Kevin Slowey 0-3 9 3 0 0 0 0 32.0 41 21 21 5 5 17 5.91 1.44

Right now Kevin's numbers are worse as a starter than they were as a reliver, but with just three of them under his belt one good day will swing those splits back in his favor. With the way this rotation has fallen apart and imploded all season, and with the question marks surrounding the rotation for next year, please, Kevin, for the love of all that is good and holy: pitch a gem.
