In our closest race yet, Manuel Soliman edged David Bromberg for the Twenty-Third spot in our poll. Soliman had 56 of 269 votes (20%) to Bromberg's 53. Nate Roberts was third (45), Deolis Guerra fourth (31) and Lester Oliveros fifth (24).
Daniel Santana will be dropped from the next round. We will bring back Jairo Perez and add this year's fourth round pick, Matt Summers. Perez hit .337 average and .992 OPS with fifteen home runs for Beloit. Summers, who has been described to me as a reliever in the Jesse Crain mold, put up numbers as good as anyone in the organization with a 0.87 ERA, 0.77 WHIP, 36 strikeouts and only 5 walks in 20.2 innings.
This round will remain open until Saturday morning.
