Is This the Last Game of the Season for the Twins?: Yes :(
Well, well, well. This season has been kind of a disaster as far as pitching has gone for our favorite team, but I'm certainly sad to see it end. Sure, we still have playoffs to watch, but that's nowhere near as fun as watching your favorite team--even if they are losing (okay, I may actually not be sure of this, because playoff baseball is pretty darn fun...). Anyway, the Twins close out their season tonight at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, facing a team that only slightly had a better season than them. Let's hope they make this last one a good one.

Notes:
-Scott Diamond, traitorous Canadian that he is, is apparently excited about being in his homeland for this series, and says he'll have lots of friends and family in the crowd. Good for him...eh?
-After missing last night's game, Ryan Doumit may also miss the season finale game with an injured thumb. Per Gardy, he may be available in an emergency pinch-hit situation.
-If Joe Mauer starts tonight, it'll be his career-high 147th start, passing his 146 in 2008.

Go Twins! /sobbing quietly in the corner while waving goodbye to summer...
