Anibal Sanchez is another pitcher we've been fond of in these parts over the last few weeks (months?), and if this is true then he's priced himself out of most markets in baseball:

There's no doubt that Sanchez is in demand. But how many teams will be willing to give Sanchez that much money over six years? Not that many, which is probably the point. Start with extortion and work backwards.
For what it's worth, in our Mock Winter Meetings I also happened to offer Sanchez four and $48. Clearly we're not landing this guy in reality or fantasy.
