Though it's only a spring training game, beating the Tigers is always enjoyable. Luke Hughes, Chris Parmelee, Ryan Doumit, and Joe Benson all combined to get the Twins' offense going. Hughes, however, had a great day at DH, going 2-for-3, with 2 runs scored, a walk, 3 RBI, and one strikeout.
Everyone else's day after the jump.
Baseball Hitters (Starters):
Denard Span, 1-for-4
Jamey Carroll, 0-for-3
Danny Valencia, 1-for-4
Chris Parmelee, 2-for-5
Ryan Doumit, 1-for-2
Joe Benson, 2-for-4
Ben Revere, 0-for-3
Alexi Casilla, 1-for-2
Baseball Pitchers:
Liam Hendriks, 4 IP 4 H 2 ER 1 BB 2 K 1 HR
Matt Maloney, 2 IP 1 H 1 BB 3 K
Jeff Gray, 1 IP

Overall, a pretty good day for the Spring Training Twins. Beating the Tigers will always be enjoyable, even if many of the players won't see Target Field come April. Hendriks looked pretty good, Hughes and Parmelee are looking good, and Revere is getting better. The future is bright, Twins fans. Stick around.
