Orioles 11, Twins 1: Pavano Off His Game

This guy pitches for Baltimore now. That's strange, bro.

If you believe the radio broadcast, Carl Pavano didn't pitch inside this afternoon and it cost him. The Orioles pounded him for eight hits and six runs over four innings, and considering the Twins picked up fewer hits than Baltimore had runs this just wasn't a very fun contest.

Matt Capps, Glen Perkins and Brendan Wise all got hit pretty well, combining for five innings of five run baseball from the bullpen; only Brian Duensing had a clean inning. We won't even bring up the offense, other than Joe Mauer's two hits (one of which was a double).
