Both starting pitchers are significant question marks this spring:

Jason Marquis

#21 / Pitcher / Minnesota Twins

6-1

He is the projected fifth starter. He wasn't terribly good in his first spring appearance. Nobody that I know of is thinking, "Well, at least we got Jason Marquis to shore up the rotation." So, really, anything positive today would be nice.

Adam Wainwright

#50 / Pitcher / St. Louis Cardinals

6-7

The defending champions have to be on pins and needles to get Adam Wainwright back. This is the 2010 Cy Young runner-up's first appearance since undergoing Tommy John surgery last February. You can't replace Albert Pujols, but if the Cards get Wainwright back in the rotation, that has to take some of the sad out.
