Game 59: Phillies @ Twins

First Pitch: 7:10 pm CST
TV: FSN
Radio: 1500 ESPN
Know Thine Enemy: The Good Phight
The Phillies are in Minnesota for only the second time in history, and Jim Thome is hitting fourth. Let's beat 'em (except Jimmers can mash all the taters he wants) (seriously we want Thome taters).
Also, Twins first-round draft pick Byron Buxton is in town finalizing his contract. He did a pre-game workout with the team and took batting practice.

2012 - Nick Blackburn 2-4 8 8 0 0 0 0 38.1 51 33 33 8 15 20 7.75 1.72

This is Blackie's second start since being activated from the DL. In his last start, Blackburn pulled a classic Radke by giving up a two-run homerun in the first before going on to pitch four more shutout innings for the win. I hear the Phillies offense has been pretty terrible so hopefully this goes well today (but again, we wouldn't mind a Thome tater).

2012 - Kyle Kendrick 2-5 13 8 1 1 0 1 52.2 58 29 26 5 19 34 4.44 1.46

Mr. Kendrick allowed five runs on four hits and five walks in 5 2/3 innings in his last start against the Dodgers. Sounds a little all over the place, so don't expect Joe Mauer to both swinging much,
