Know Thine Enemy: Royals Review

The specter of Bruce Chen and his 79 mph Nasty Factor looms on Sunday. Hometown nine had best make hay while they can tonight and tomorrow.

Heavers:

2012 - Brian Duensing 1-3 31 1 0 0 0 0 37.2 32 16 16 2 11 23 3.82 1.14

Both Duensing and Cole De Vries are starting this weekend, if you were wondering about the health of the starting rotation.

Notes:

  • As noted up top, the Twins recalled Cole DeVries from Rochester to start the second half of tomorrow's doubleheader. Teams can expand their rosters to 26 players for doubleheaders, so there was no corresponding move.
  • Multiple sources are reporting the Twins have come to an agreement with Ryan Doumit and his weird, spooky eyes on an extension. Both LaVelle and Doogie are reporting that it's a 2-year extension.

Enjoy the game, everybody.
