First thing first--Joe "I like to lay in my hammock" Mauer is still out of the lineup with a sore thumb. Now for your starting pitchers:
The Twins faced Bruce Chen back on April 29th in what turned out to be Chen's shortest outing of the year so far. Chen gave up 6 hits and 6 earned runs over just 2.2 innings, and failed to pick Denard Span off first although he tried his darndest. Hopefully Chen has a similar outing today in Kansas City.
Fransisco Liriano is making his second start since rejoining the rotation. His last outing went well, giving up no runs and only 3 hits over 6 innings pitched. So what will Liriano do today? Anyone's guess! Let's watch and find out!
