Twins, Royals Game Postponed, Rescheduled For Saturday

Heavy rain battered Kansas City, Missouri on Friday evening, and the Twins' opener with the Royals was postponed before we even got to the 7:10 pm start time. Believe it or not, but this is the first rainout at Kauffman Stadium this year.

Friday's game is rescheduled for 3:10 pm Saturday, and will air on FSN. The original game on Saturday now carries an interesting start time. It will start either at 6:10 pm, or 1/2 hour after the conclusion of Game 1, whichever one is later. Basically, if Game 1 is a 2 hr. game, expect Game 2 to be at 6:10 pm. If Game 1 goes 3 1/2 hours, expect Game 2 around 7:00 pm.

Both teams will stick with their originally scheduled starters for Games 1 and 2. Cole De Vries and Will Smith will start the afternoon game, and Liam Hendriks and Luke Hochevar will have the nightcap. Thus, tomorrow's going to be all Bryz, all day here at Twinkie Town (perhaps with a tiny bit of Roger thrown in).
