Game 145: Whities @ Twinkies SPOILER TOUR 2012 STARTS NOW

First Pitch: 7:10 pm CST
TV: FSN
Radio: 1500 ESPN
Know Thine Enemy: South Side Sox

Heavers:

W-L G GS CG SHO SV BS IP H R ER HR BB K ERA WHIP
2012 - Esmerling Vasquez 0-1 2 2 0 0 0 0 8.2 10 9 9 1 8 4 9.35 2.08

He's probably an underdog this evening.

W-L G GS CG SHO SV BS IP H R ER HR BB K ERA WHIP
2012 - Chris Sale 16-6 26 25 1 0 0 1 169.0 139 55 54 17 44 168 2.88 1.08

Sale was supposed to go up against Justin Verlander last night, but due to the postponement he gets to face the Twins instead, who are again without one of their most noteworthy hitters (see below). All the odds seem to be favoring the White Sox in this one, which would make an upset all the more sweet. Also because I really don't like the White Sox, outside of Konerko.

Yard-Leavers (courtesy Joe C.):

Twins

1. Span

2. Carroll

3. Yes Pig

4. Mountie

5. Plouffe

6. Mastroianni

7. Carson

8. Sweet Drew

9. Florimon

Whities

1. The Aza

2. Youkilis

3. Wise

4. Konerko

5. Rios

6. AJ

7. Viciedo

8. Ramirez

9. Beckham

Notes:

  • Still no Mauer, Doumit, Parmelee. Clearly no sense in rushing them back (the Tigers may disagree), but man, that's not the Twins "A" lineup.
  • As noted by multiple sources, Josh Willingham is one homer shy of the first 35 home run season by a Twins since Harmon Killebrew. Dang.

Enjoy the game, everybody.
