As noted by Jon Marthaler, these games are absolutely critical for the Tigers, who are 2 games behind the South Siders with 13 to go. If the Twins get any pitching at all, Porcello tonight and (probably) Drew Smyly on Sunday are winnable games. Yes, this directly benefits the White Sox. I like it as much as you do. Beats losing, though.
