In the preview for today's game, I compared Matt Harvey to Stephen Strasburg. He did little to dispel that claim, holding the Twins to 1 run and 2 hits over 8 innings. As for Scott Diamond, he looked pretty good at first, but kind of blew up in the 5th inning as he neared his 80 pitch limit.

Kudos to kenzertz for being today's Chatty Cathy.
Highlights:
- Matt Harvey flirted with a no-hitter for 6 2/3 innings, until....
- Justin Morneau broke it up with a solo homer off the right field foul pole.
- Scott Diamond held the Mets scoreless until the 5th inning, first allowing a solo homer to Marlon Byrd and then just falling apart from there.
