The Twins look to regroup after last night's loss after a loooooooooooong game. Hopefully these guys can help pick up the pace tonight.

Ryan Dempster is looking to continue his strong start to the season tonight as he takes the mound versus the Twins. In his last start against the Blue Jays, Dempster gave up one earned run on four hits over 6 innings.

Interesting factoid: Of the seven times Joe Mauer has faced Demspter, he has never had a hit or walk.

Scott Diamond has been pretty decent ever since his first start on April 13th. His past three outings have all been quality starts, and he says his arm--which he had surgery on to remove bone chips last December--is getting a little better all the time. Getting better all the time!

The only two Red Sox batters who have faced Diamond before are Jonny Gomes and Shane Victorino. He's faced both men three times each and neither of them got a hit.

Tonight is also the first time Diamond is pitching at Fenway, and he seems pretty jazzed about it. Expect to see some clip of him talking about Fenway during the FSN broadcast.
