Pitcher Preview: Mike Pelfrey vs. Wade Davis

Elsa

Tonight's pitching matchup features the struggling-mightily Mike Pelfrey and the Royals' also-struggling Wade Davis. In what will likely be a game with a lot of runs scored, the Twins are going to have to hope Pelfrey (and the bullpen) can limit the number of runs allowed to keep them in the game. Oh, and unlike last night, the offense might actually have to show up to play tonight.

A little bit of information about the pitchers...

I love that Pelfrey's ERA right now is 6.66. That's fantastic.

Wade Davis

Davis has now lost two in a row and gave up 10 hits and 6 runs in his last outing. The Twins should be able to hit him well.
